New Zealand National Trade Academy (Christchurch) 2022 English + Horticulture/ Viticulture
Improve your English language skills in this 4 week-course, while learning New Zealand horticulture and/or viticulture terminology and practical plant nursery; gardening and/or viticulture (winegrowing) skills.
You will learn skills such as:
Using safe work practises in a primary industry workplace
Carrying out practical production tasks associated with an entry-level role in a primary industry context
Our 'English Plus' students receive a guaranteed number of hours of both English study and practical training, but the course schedules are necessarily flexible because the practical training component often depends on weather, equipment availability and the need to fit in with the schedules of other tutors (or of our hosts in the case of off-site visits).
Three days of English study from 9.00am until 3.00pm + Two days of practical training from 9.00am until 4.00pm.
2022 price NZ$ 370 per week plus NZ$ 510 course material and registration fee

The National Trade Academy in NewZealand has a diverse range of courses available, from Agriculture, Horticulture, Equine, Animal Care, English Language courses, Commercial Pilot Licence, Welding and more.
We're located just 10 minutes from Christchurch city, with purpose-built facilities designed to educate and inspire. We're close enough to the city to make travel easy while allowing us the 100 hectares of space that we need.
