High School Overview

Locations

All High School programmes in New Zealand include Homestay with a selected, and by the New Zealand government checked, host family. During weekdays 2 meals, and in the weekend 3 meals are included. Also European summer period (July – August) as a short term programme is possible, as well as 6 month programmes. Please ask for quotes.

Intermediate School (age group 11 – 13 year old)         

& Kristin School takes students fom Kindergarten age up till 14, provided they are accompanied by a parent with a guardianship visa.

High Schools (age group 13 – 18 year old)

Above prices include the Administration fee, the Tuition fee for the appropriate months, the Homestay Administration fee, Home stay for the appropriate months, if applicable uniform and airport pick-up and medical insurance (not always, please check with Study NZ).

Additional cost may be stationery, activity costs (trips, weekend, outings, etc.), subject materials (woodwork, cooking, etc.). Pocket money for the child is never included.

15-16 years Form 5 (Year 11) NCEA Level 1 or IGCSE Cambridge Exams
16-17 years Form 6 (Year 12) NCEA Level 2 or AS level Cambridge Exams
17-18 years Form 7 (Year 13) NCEA Level 3 or A Level Cambridge Exams

There are four terms per year, divided into 10 weeks each. The school year starts in February and there are two weeks of holidays in April, June and September, summer holidays in December and January.
