Au Pair (Demi Pair) programs
The Demi-Pair Programme is designed for students aged between 18 and 30 years, wanting to study English, gain work experience in child care and enjoy New Zealand. Students will live in a "Kiwi" family and support the family in terms of light housework, childcare etc. In return they will get free board and a little pocket money.

In Wellington with English Teaching College
20 hrs/week au pair work*, 15 hrs of English and get free accommodation and food (you need previous childcare experience), free first aid course (+certificate). For the price, please enquire.

Work on a Farm

In Palmerston North with the English Teaching College
For 3,420 NZ$ get 4 weeks of English and Homestay, plus 4 weeks on a working farm*.

You will get free accommodation and meals during the stay on the farm in exchange for work on the farm.

Work in Hospitality

In Wellington with the English Teaching College
Students are placed into paid work experience *. Study part-time (15 hours/week) and work part-time in hospitality (20-25 hours/week). For the price, please enquire.

NZ$ 2,660 for 6 weeks of English and afterwards fruit picking
At the end of your course, you will start your work with an orchard or winery in Central Otago . (PLEASE NOTE: only in the period November – March)
You will be able to work there for as long as you wish for the season, which runs from October to April. Most orchards/ wineries also provide cheap staff accommodation on site, which can be as low as NZ$ 25/week. Pay varies but is usually NZ$ 11/hour. During the busiest period in December and January fruit pickers also receive bonuses for amounts picked and can earn up to NZ$ 200/day!!!

NZ$ 2,660 for 6 weeks of English and afterwards a holiday job offer
Range of salary NZ$ 13 - NZ$ 20 per hour depending on English level, job and experience. Working hours: 6 - 8 hours per day, 30+ hours per week, but after your English course

NZ$ 2,660 for 6 weeks of English and a stay on a working farm afterwards.
Includes tuition, homestay and farmstay accommodation and transfers free after the English classes, in return for some work on the farm.
