Christchurch Boys High School New Zealand Rugby Programme

Christchurch Boys’ High School has been arguably the number one rugby school in the world since the sport became professional in 1996. CBHS has produced 45 All Blacks. Since 1996, no other school in the world has produced as many international players. CBHS has produced 15 All Blacks, 3 Japan internationals, 1 USA, 1 Ireland and 2 All Black coaches. 

The undefeated 2013 All Black squad contained 7 former CBHS players and the head coach. Junior national representatives from many countries i.e. France, Denmark, Brazil, Mexico and the Czech Republic have also participated in our international rugby development programmes. 65 former Christchurch Boys’ High players have gone on to play professional rugby (since 1996).

International Rugby Programme runs the whole school year between 1st February and 12th December. Currently limited to 25 players. Age 13 -19 years old.

On top of tuition fees
NZ$ 1,800 Rugby programme 3 terms/full year
NZ$ 1,500 Rugby programme 2 terms
NZ$ 1,000 Rugby programme 1 term
